Hello,

I don't know much about these pins/codes, but my DF & I are saving up for a 2009 WDW vacation (end of Nov-1st week in Dec.). Holiday season is my favorite time of year-I love WDW Christmas decorations & festivities & I am looking forward to my first MVMCP:cool1:

I'm hoping to receive a pin/code through the mail or email, but I don't know which lists to go on to receive on-??

I just created an account in my name with Disney online & ordered the planning DVD. We also have an account in DF's name from our last trip.

I was told to join Mousesavers, but I can't figure out where to join on their website.

How can I increase my chances of getting a discount for this trip?

Our last trip was last February, but we had a different address back then (hence, we are listed under an inaccurate address in their computers now). I'm not sure if it increases our chances if Disney knows we just visited WDW a few months ago. Would it help to have my DF update our postal address info on his account or should I just keep my new account I just created?

Thanks!:)

First go to the MouseSavers website and then click on the newletter sign up link. This is separate from Disney, but will give you all sorts of great information. You might also want to check into buy the Unofficial Guide, aka The Disney Bible. Here is a link that offers a discount on that.

As far as how to get a code/pin, :confused3 . If anyone knew that they would become rich selling the information. For the most part, it seems to be random. Just sign up everywhere Disney (official), cross your fingers, and hope for the best. I'd have both of you update your info. and sign up.

Good luck...we've never received a pin code, although I do get dozens of emails from various Disney divisions.

One way to almost always get a discount is join AAA & book though them...usually good for 10-20% off your room rate (occasionally you have to be flexible on hotel choice because they're only allowed to book a certain # of rooms with the AAA discount.) And the AAA membership has advantages, too, like roadside service if your car breaks down, and discounted car insurance as well as help trip planning.

Thanks so much! I just signed up for Mousesavers.

We do have AAA, so we are banking on the AAA discount if we can't get a pin or code. So, at least that's something!!:goodvibes

I'm on everyofficial disney mailing list, and website known to man...but I've only ever got a pin for disneyLAND! I've never been there, but I've Been to WDW half dozen times! :lmao:

I really think its just a crap shoot!
