We have had so so service once at 'Ohana, but have always had plenty of great food. I can't remember if we ever asked for seconds of anything before or not.
Ohana has had these comments for as long as I've been going, since 1998. I think it is highly server dependentIt's my understanding you can ask for seconds whether they offer or not.
Why did I open this thread, I'm going next week and all I'll be doing is looking for this stuff. Most of those I'm pretty sure I don't care about. they stopped with three sauces a long time ago. I think it's just two now or maybe just peanut sauce.
They don't prep kosher meals in the kitchens. WDW doesn't have kosher kitchens. They order the kosher meals from offsite. I didn't much like the pork skewers anyhow. I want the shrimp. (I don't think shrimp are kosher either)
SO glad to hear this, thank you! Honestly I think earlier is better than later (in general) as they seem to get more backed up and frenzied as the night goes on.we went to Ohana Monday evening....we had a five o clock reservation and the place was already filled with the new earlier openings...first off..our server was Cathy and she was fantastic.. She took our drink order and then said ..oh I will be right back with some butter for the bread...we didnt ask for it.. the pot stickers and wings were great as usual ...noodles were hot and very good ...plus the veggies..(the second server asked if we would like some more of the appetizers) .she brought over the shrimp at first and then said.. I will be back with the chicken.hubby said he doenst like the chicken and she said..Oh then I will bring you the meat...it was so tender we could of cut it with our fork...she came over multiple times with more shrimp and beef...hubby was in his element.. the dessert was ...sooooooo good...but we were full..she said..how about some coffee to go with dessert..as we were having diet cokes.....so all in all ..our meal was great and the server was fantastic..
