Way OT-Britains Got Talent Contestant

My DD loves Britains got Talent and watched this on Saturday night

She was certainly a surprise :)

I am a musical theater fan and Les Miz is my favorite musical. I saw Les Miz on Broadway in 1987 and have seen it 8 times since. I Dreamed a Dream is one of my favorite songs and I have heard some incredible renditions. It gave me chills when I saw it on Broadway and I felt the same way when I heard Susan Boyle sing this on You Tube. She is incredible. It is amazing to me that she could keep herself together to perform as she did after the way the audience laughed at her during the introduction. They did quite a turn around once she started singing. I don't follow the show but I hope she does well.

She is amazing....and I loved Simon's comments

I love that show. We were in London for a month last year during the show. The young boy who sang opera was amazing and the Micheal Jackson group was so funny. I love the way it is on every night of the week insead of like here where it is one night a week for months.

I also grew attached to The Graham Norton Show during that visit....and Kirsti and Phil from Location, Location, Location.....

My daughter (6) actually asked to go back to London instead of WDW on vacation....

I'm sure it is good but this and other reality/talent shows like Pop Idol etc remind me of "Uncle Albert and Cousin Kathy" singing at a wedding.

One you cringe at and the other a golden voice to which ever respective family they belong :rolleyes1

I just hope the talent gets more airtime than the wannabes :)

Wow she was good :thumbsup2 We don't normally watch the show but ya gotta love those cheeky chappies Ant and Dec :goodvibes

Has BGT had any Morris Dancers on yet? - they're a dying breed so I've heard:lmao:

She's so awesome. Anyone know if this show is televised in the states? I'd love to see how she progresses through the contest.

Simon's face is priceless, he looks like he just met the love of his life. (He probably just realized how high this woman is going to push the show's ratings)

Still, seeing as she's never been kissed, I'd love to see her get her first one from Simon!

How about Neil Diamond's version? :scared1:

As she said afterward, Bloody Fantastic. A great feel good story.
