When DD was about 3 she would spend the afternoon with me at work.
At the time I owned and operated an auto body shop. Most of my employees were guys and were very good entertaining her. She got very attached to
all of the deliverymen we had coming and going. She especially liked when
the big brown truck would pull up. We would hear " Mommy, the PMS man is here!" She could never understand why everyone cracked up! The poor UPS guy never understood why we were always laughing at him!

OK, can't help but contribute one of my own. DD4 has just started karate after watching DD8 for months. They are sitting in a group and DD is asked the question "When we come to class we put our hand over our fist to mean that we come in peace and ....?" (the answer was friendship) Well, having only recently started, DD didn't know the answer. When prompted again with "peace and....." she responded "Quiet?"
Gee, guess everyone now knows that mommy occasionally asks for "a little peace and quiet in here please"

My best friend, her DH, and her DS (toddler) were sitting down to dinner with some very proper friends from church. Her son grabbed his fork and with it in hand started chanting "fork!fork!fork!" only he couldn't pronounce the "r" sound at the time. My DH and I were cracking up, but our proper friends looked like they wanted to call child services on my best friend. Very red faced she announced, "Yes honey, that is your FORRRK".
