Way Early Roll Call For March 4, 2006 Eastern.........

texas-disneymom

Well if we have the ship to ourself great. Sounds like there be some new stuff for my family. It will have been over a year from our last.
We are all looking forward to it. So far our Michigan summer is ok. About 80 now & so far our weekend have been nice.

I have booked & paid for our airfair. Flying from Michigan to sunny Florida is never cheap anymore. We will be flying out of Flint direct Friday am. The price I paid was a bit less than last Feb. so i'm happy & the fare is up about 70%.

I keep checking in when I can

Well
Its now the middle of July already. Kind of glad & kind of not. Summer has been wonderful here in Michigan. Very warm & dry. Not at all like last year. Started thinking about the cruise after hearing about Emily hiting Cancun. We had such a wonderful beach day there last year.
Hope we do get some more postings as we get closer to our wonderful dates.
Well back to work tomarrow so I can pay for my cruise

Wendy

Okay so it took me a month to find the cruise posting. This will be our first cruise on March 4th, 2006. We are long time Disneyland fans, doing our first cruise and WDW vacation. I see where there are a couple of DD around the age of 12. They may not be interested in my DS who will be 10. I am sure lots of friendships will be made, hopefully some long term ones. :Pinkbounc

We have friends who have just finished the DCL west coast and loved it and turned around and signed up again. My DW is afraid I will do the same thing.

Seven months is a long time. We are booked into category 5, 7074 I think off the top of my head. Anyone else willing to share where they will be??

I'll keep posting while we all wait patiently..... :jumping1:

We're spending four days at CBR at Disney and then.... CRUISING!! It will be myself, DH, DS 11 and DD 9. Can't wait to meet all the fellow DIS ers!!!

.... anyone else????
:sunny:

I see you have an DS who is 11. Will he be 11 on the cruise? My DS will be 10 and will be on a break during 4th grade. :cool2:

My family will be on ths cruise as well, Me, DW, DD13, DD6, and Mother in Law. This will be our second Disney Cruise. We can't wait! It looks like the airfare is going to be pretty expensive this time around from New York.

I am also going on this same cruise. It will be myself, DH,DS (will be 8 when we cruise), and DS (he will turn 6 on the cruise). This is our first disney cruise and we are very excited. We plan to spend the first 4 days at disney because we have not been there for 2 years and the boys really want to go back again. I see that "texasdisney mom" you also have a son that is about the same age as my oldest DS. Looking forward to getting to know everybody before March. YEAH- only seven more months!!!

Hi allcanadian  we're doing the exact same trip!!!! 4 days at Disney World :wizard: beginning February 28th and we board the ship on March 4th!!!!! We're staying at Carribean Beach Resort while at Disney..... where is you're family staying? Seven months from today.... :boat: we can't wait!!!

Thanks GemJoy. My son Ryan can be a little shy. It is really helping even seven months out to tell him we already know about one other young man his age. He is really excited. :bounce:

I think it is cool you are all going to WDW before the cruise. We are unfortunately doing WDW right after the cruise.

Hi gemjoy ,we have not booked that part of the trip yet we are thinking about staying at the Radisson on parkway, just off the 192, we stayed close to that last time we went at Homewood suites and liked the area. We are also arriving on Feb 28th and will do Disney on Wednesday and Thursday and maybe on Friday. We have the Radisson at Port Canaveral booked for the night before the cruise so we do not have to get up early and drive on the morning of the cruise. Are you planning on just going to the port from orlando on the morning of the cruise?

Yes ~ we're staying at CBR until the morning of our cruise... our package includes Disney transportation to port canav. I'm not sure what time that will get us there though :confused3 I'm hoping to be able to board the ship as early as possible and relax..... :cool1: :boat:

Well, my husband accepted a new job in Cleveland, Ohio! Because of this we lost our Spring Break in March and that week in Ohio they are doing State testing, so we have cancelled our cruise. We are taking the kids to WDW on the 17th of December for Christmas. Hoping to book a Summer Cruise for 2007 when rates come out! I just couldn't even touch the prices of cruises during their new Spring Break/Thanksgiving/Christmas!

Y'all have a great time!

We are so sorry to hear the news Texas DisneyMom.

I hope you get to reschedule for the magical cruise. Take good care, :wave2:

Hey fellow cruisers,

Has anyone requested a dinner rotation yet?? It would be cool if our DISboard members had the same rotation me thinks.... :wave2:

...I posted a separate message as I couldn't find this listing (must have been sleepy when looking). We are taking this cruise for my parents' 40th anniversary-they are seasoned cruisers, we are not, but it is the first on DCL for all of us...and it is the first cruise for our kids (DD will be almost 7, DS will turn 5 right before we leave!). Can't wait!!

This will be our first cruise ever. My husband and my DS 6 and DS 3 have never had any kind of Disney experience. I'm so excited. We booked this cruise to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. :wave2:

Welcome to the cruise MeRIVan,

This thread was started by others on our cruise six months ago. It should really start picking up steam very soon with more folks joining in. It is our families first cruise and our first trip to WDW. We are normally west coasters and used to the Disneyland experience. This should be a totally awesome time.
