Just a quick check-in.. Feeling much better.. definetly on the road to recovery and hoping by tomorrow at 3:20 p.m., I'll be 100%!!

Tracey--

So glad to hear that you're feeling better! Wouldn't want your first Disney Cruise affected by a bug. Hope Logan is feeling better as well.

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I'm still here and can't wait to meet you all on Saturday! Things are crazy around here, we leave tomorrow and we'll be doing the parks post-cruise. How can there be so many last minute details??

See you all after the lifeboat drill! Be prepared for the Konk Kooler Initiation Ceremony!!

The Konch Kooler Initiation !

Who could forget that!

I received an e-mail from Linda (ScrapHappyMama) and family and she said to say hello to all. She has been swamped at work and just hasn't had the time to visit the boards on a regular basis. Other than all the work, she says everyone is well and they are all exceptionally excited about being on the ship in less than two days!

They will be leaving early tomorrow morning and Linda asked me to wish everyone safe travels!

I just got a call from Tommy Boy and Julie.
They are in Florida in record time from Michigan.
His est. Time is 16.5 Hr's from Home to Orlando.

Kid's slept straight through the whole way.

He wanted me to post for him and tell everyone to
travel safe.

I still have 4 Hr's here at work.

Catch the Plane at 7:00 am on friday in Detroit in
Orlando by 9:30 and the Ron Jon Resort By 11:00

Sound like a good Plan.....

....I want to go back... to the ISLANDS... Where the Shrimp Boats are tied up to the Pillons....

Pangoman--

Thanks for the update on Tom and Julie! I wonder if they are following the speed limits... :teeth:

Only three more hours of work for ya!

Thanks Jason, for passing along my message. I decided I would pop in real quick while eating lunch, and wish everyone a safe trip. I am not going to try and comment other than that, because unfortunately I stopped being able to keep up with all of you about 10 or 12 pages ago!!!!

Can't wait to meet you all!! See you Saturday!!!

Linda

Hey whoever is still around. Thought I would drop in since I have just written my last line of code for work and now am ready to start my vacation. :drinking1 :boat: :cool1:

:jumping1:

Got to tie up a few loose ends here today and off to put the clothes in the suit case.

See you all there! :happy2:

Oh and thanks Pango for the Tom and Julie update. WOW they made it down there fast. :moped:

Congratulations. I've got one more day of:

:badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

On an unrelated note, anyone think these guys have had *way* too much caffeine?

:rockband:

Maybe it's just me.

The Pango Man is my new mouthpiece, it is awesome to have a friend you will post for you when you are on the road. We actually made it in exactly 17 hours and only 3 stops the longest one being 15 minutes, our girls sure are great travelers (sleepers).

I talked to Monkeyboy and he and the Heidster and the Queen and I are going to hook up tonight with the kids. I will try to post later, about how wild and crazy they really are, the cool thing is that when I talked to Ryan on the phone it was as if I had known him forever, just a couple of long lost friends touching base. Well I have to go and fill the cooler full of ice and prepare for the big double date, Pango you are the best and holy cow with the Buffet references, you rock.

Tom at the Beach Club waiting for you all.

OK. Who else checked out this afternoon/evening?

I believe Tammy and family were off this afternoon. Anyone else?

Jeff--

How's that packing coming along?

Packing? Was I supposed to start? ;)

Doing laundry at the moment. Once Alyssa gets to bed, I'll really start packing.

Jeff

My packing hasn't moved any further than it was last night. Had a slight interruption. I was taking the key to my neighbor who was going to bring in the mail and papers when DH came looking for me to let me know that DS (almost 28) had just called and he had locked his carkeys in his van, WITH IT RUNNING. Fortunately his cell phone was in his pocket so guess who he called. Of course he was near where he works which is 30+ minutes away. So I just spent the last two hours taking a spare key to DS and getting dinner.

So now it's 9:20, the clothes are still in the same place they were last night and DH is telling me his throat is hurting and he's not 100%. I refuse to allow him to be sick on the cruise. I gave him aspirin and recommended a glass of wine and to go to bed. I figure the alcohol will kill whatever's in his throat and relax him so he can truly crash.

Glad the travelers have arrived safely in FL and safe journeys to the rest of you.

Jason, I'm getting off a little early tomorrow afternoon so I'll probably check in around 4:00 before I turn off the computers. We're heading for Moms about 5:15ish and then to the airport.

See everyone on "Mickey's Boat" on Saturday.:jumping2: :cheer2: :thewave:

Reine--

Now I understand what my mom means when she says "A moms work is never complete!" :teeth: I guess it's one of those universal rules. But, us DSs and DDs are lucky to have DMs like you! ::yes::

I doubt it will make you (or Jeff) feel any better but my packing hasn't progressed any more either. I'm such a procrastinator! Tomorrow is the deadline though and I know I'll get it done somehow. I did pick up the dry cleaning!!! That should count for something. :D

Here's positive thoughts for Paul. Perhaps part of it is just excitement over the cruise and seeing Robyn again. How long has she been on the Magic? It must be even more exciting because you guys get to see her and everything.

Well, I think that’s it for tonight. I need to rest up for the final sprint tomorrow. Hope you all have a nice night and Disney Dreams!

Jason

Jason, thanks for the positive thoughts.

We haven't seen Robyn since I put her on the plane January 27. This is actually the longest we've gone without seeing her but it actually hasn't been as bad as when she was working in camps in the summer cause I've been able to talk to her each week and send e-mails, etc. When she was working in the camps, she was younger and she'd call on Sunday nights for maybe 5 mintues. The Hi Mom, I'm fine, bye mom type of call. And the last several weeks she's either called from St. Thomas or e-mailed from Cozumel so I get some sort of communication in the middle of the week. Once you get the routine down, it gets easier. It also helps that she hasn't lived at home since she graduated from college 3 1/2 years ago so I'm not used to seeing her all the time although I would usually see her at least at church on Sundays. But it has been hard since I've always been able to just pick up the phone if I wanted to.

I'm at the panic stage now. I have the clothes in the suitcases, blended by the way, and now I'm trying to decide if I forgot anything! :scared1:

The clock is counting HOURS now. Woooo Hooooo

Quick check-in to those still around! Just wanted to wish everyone safe travels.

I am ALMOST all packed - have both suitcases and Logans' backpack done; trying to cram everything else into my carry-on.
Still have about 4 hours til we head to Airport. Wish there was time for a nap  - didn't sleep too well last night, partly from excitement and partly from dwindling effects of this stupid sinus infection...But I have faith I will be pain-free by 3:20 this afternoon!!!!!

Also had to get back online to print out the cruisers list from Three Circles. Thanks again for all your work on the website - It turned out great Jason!!!

See you all tomorrow!

:thewave:

over and out............

Hey gang! Safe travel to all! :teleport:

We are headed to the airport in about 3.5 hours, so we will see everyone down there. Can you beleive its finally here??!!!!

Till then Joe and JennL signing off. :boat:

Well we made it safely to Cocoa Beach. I can't believe Tom and Julie and girls made it in 13 hours. It took us 9 hours from the SC coast. Looking forward to meeting everyone at the Goofy pool!!!
Until then,....Allison :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I guess it's time for the next round of departures! This thread is going to be very quite tonight. I guess I'll just have to talk to myself! :teeth:

Glad to hear that you made it to Florida Allison and family!

Jen and Joe, Tracey, and Reine--

Here's wishing you smooth and safe flights today! No delays, no airport crowds, and sunny weather are coming your way, I know it!

And, before you all head out, we've added another cruiser to the Disney Magic May 1st Cruise List! It's really been a pleasure making the list and I couldn't have done it without all of you. It really was, without a doubt, a group effort!

Till later,
Jason

And no one will have any trouble recognizing me because I look VERY similar to Nemo after my Wednesday visit to the tanning bed. Please try not to make me laugh as it is very painful when I do. My face is fried and Noah said I look like a clown fish. Ahhh!! My child can be painfully honest.

I'll try to check in tonight. I am cooking dinner for this big family of 15, but it shouldn't be too difficult for I have many sous chefs to assist.

See ya'll,....Allison

Oh I see it was 17 hours for Tom and Julie. I feel much better because I wouldn't want them breaking the speed limit.

Nemo, eh? Well, like you said, at least none of your fellow Magic May 1st Cruisers will have a difficult time finding you then! :)

Good luck with the meal. I find it hard enough just cooking for Travis and myself sometimes. I don't think I could handle cooking for 15!
