Hi everyone!

I started a fun, fun job. However, that means I no longer have the time to walk my three times a week three-miles at the mall. So - I've got to find another exercise routine. I've heard of "Walk Away the Pounds", but never tried it.

So, can those of you who love it - or hate it - give me some honest comments? I'd really appreciate it! Like Nativetxn said, exercise IS non-negotiable on Atkins and I've lost too much weight to go backwards!

Thanks for all your help!

I just bought the Walk away the pounds at target yesterday and tried it this morning and I LOVE it!!! It's very simple unlike many excercie videos and was pretty cheap 19.99 for the one, two and three mile on DvD. I highly recommend it. Otherwise I also suggest tae bo vidoes. Good luck with your excercising!!! :flower:

I like WATP. The only problem I've noticed is that I seem to have memorized the dialog on the first one. I just make up new dialog.

My other problem is actually USING it. I've been so bad since my mother died. I've got to get back to doing this. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the comments! WBGirl, I bought mine at Target this morning! I plan on trying it tomorrow! Katholyn, I'll look for your post on the daily exercise threads....that's what works for me - I feel like I SHOULD be posting on the threads......it keeps me honest!

I have found that once you are in shape, the shorter ones are a breeze. Make sure you buy the 4-mile one. If you are pressed for time you can cut it short. But, too me, they don't seem as strenuous as an actual walk. But they are better than nothing.

Ann, like I said, I have about a dozen of her tapes (for variety). I have the 1, 2, 3 and 4 mile tapes, the 1, 2 and 3 miles for abs, 2 strength and toning tapes, a Jenny Craig tape she did, as well as a few others that I don't care for as much (I guess that's more than a dozen actually).

I love the routines, and I love the variety I have, too. ;) Like Katholyn though, I have memorized all the tapes that I use regularly, but I've been using them for over 11 months! :earseek:

I will let my results speak for themself. ;) :smooth:

PM with any questions, if you want.

Whew! That was a workout! I did the 2 mile express. Because I want to do these before work, I wanted a short, intense work out. Annie likes!

Kim - good idea on having more than one tape - I can see where it would get "routine" after a while. However, if I'm willing to walk around the mall 4 times, 3-4 times a week, I guess I'm used to routine!

It's nice to be able to exercise WITH a job. Before I got into (semi - as I've discovered after this tape) shape, I thought you could only have one or the other.

Turns out I can have my exercise cake and eat it too!

I think it all depends on your workout level. I dont feel like I really work out when I do these tapes. I bought them on the hopes that they would be fun and different... I am a gym rat though, so I would say good for beginners and bad for people who work out a lot!

I have it too and love it. :) :cool1:

I just have to get motivated this week to actually do it. : I was hoping my daughter would nap today while the little girl I watch in week does but no go she is up moving around. :( I really should have tried to do it this morning before she got up.
