Hi Harry

Rent a locker there - they have always been safe and secure for us.

They do some large ones, but mostly we have rented one of the smaller ones and that is more than enough for our change of clothes, towel and suncream :sunny:

Your room key card will also be your park tickets and you can charge stuff in the parks to your room which means that you will only need to carry the one card on you.

The only snag is that the little stalls selling for example frozen drinks do not accept the Disney room keys for payment. Well, they didn't in December 2004. They did accept them in the cafe there.

We always rent a locker and buy a refillable drinks mug as most of our money goes on drinks at the WPs - so with the mug it saves us having to constantly return to the lockers.

I've also seen people with plastic cardholders/ plastic pots on strings around their necks. Personally I would worry about it snapping or getting swept away in the wave pools! But I'm sure they must be fine or people would not use them :)

Hi. We're just back and again used a combination of the Aquapac Keyholder waterproof pouch, a Pacsafe Travelsafe 100 and a Pacsafe rucksack net, depending on how much we had with us at any pool or waterpark. (I don't believe in taking chances with money or kit, but I also can't be bothered queuing or paying for lockers).

The Aquapac costs £10 and is only big enough for a few credit cards and some cash and can be hung around your neck or zipped in a pocket. You can get all sorts of bigger ones as well.

The Travelsafe costs about £12 new on Ebay or £20-25 in the shops and is a material covered wire mesh pouch which you padlock to a sunlounger (or two) and is tough enough to withstand anything but heavy duty wirecutters. You padlock it to the sunloungers to discourage anybody from walking off with them. I covered mine with a towel not to draw attention to it. This can take 2 or 3 compact cameras or videos, wallets, etc and you can get a bigger size as well.

The rucksack net is bigger and I used that when I had my SLR, video, underwater compact and wallet.

Any of these would pay for themselves after a few locker rentals and you could use them anywhere else as well.

I have bought a small holder that hangs around my neck and is waterproof and water tight. I got it at a shop at Gatwick airport. It is fantastic. Put all ur cards, keys etc in it and hang round neck or off wrist and swim, laxy river, wave pool etc. to your hearts content

we were just at Blizzard Beach yesterday and Typhoon Lagoon a few days ago....we always rent a locker....if you get to the parks before opening, it doesn't take long at all to rent one....we leave everything in the locker, since we don't take chairs (we never sit down, so we don't need the chairs)...

your key card can be used for charging at the store and at the main eating places, but not at the little umbrella type carts scattered around....for example, you have to pay cash at the sno-cone cart at BB.....and at the arctic dots cart at Typhoon Lagoon....

so we take some cash with those things in mind....but we leave it all in the lockers (including the key cards)....and when we want to eat something, we go to the locker to get out the money/key cards)......the keys to the locker are on rubber cords that you wear over your wrist....

the truth is, we usually only get something to eat after we've finished with all the slides....at both places that takes us about 3 hours.....then we sit down for a snack and then leave the park....i know other people stay all day, but you can keep opening your locker (and it's not that far away) so i find the locker to be very convenient...i used to carry a waterproof pouch but i prefer the lockers....

Those plastic holders that you wear around your neck work fine. They have a snap on lock or the tube ones are screw on types. We always rent a locker, it is much easier that way.
