Somebody on facebook mentioned that they were prepping the waterparks for reopening. Anyone know if that's true? I've been eagerly waiting to go back to them.

I’d be surprised with the issues they are having currently but who knows.

True. I've been to a few re-opened central Florida waterparks so far and none of them have been good at managing social distancing and stuff. With the way Disney has been handling the parks, I would imagine that they would be able to handle the water parks better than some other companies, but I don't think they want the backlash of people by re-opening more things right now.

true but those places were not also trying to open 4 land parks too.

i don’t think the issue is that Disney Couldn’t open the water parks but just that they have enough on their plate right now.

Are they giving any compensation to the APs or ticket holders that paid extra for the water parks?

I think Disney could do it right, but water parks are much harder than theme parks.

Not as of yet

And that was only if your pass was currently active. I have vouchers that include the water parks I was planning on using in September. Who knows maybe they'll be open by then.

You got that whether you had water parks or not. I don’t have water parks and I got that extra month.
I have a Platinum Plus pass, paid in full, and I've only received the extra month so far, I haven't gotten anything for the almost 4 months that they were closed. I know other people haven't gotten anything yet also so I'm just waiting it out. But it would be nice if they extended the water parks for the amount of time they were actually closed and not the amount of time the theme parks were closed.

We plan to renew or Platinum Plus Passes, so Id rather have a credit/refund for the time the water parks are closed. A one month extension doesn’t mean squat when you paid for water parks that remain closed after the parks opened.
