Waterpark Pool?

Last night I was on VMK following some friends through a bunch of rooms and one of the rooms had a beach. When we walked into the water we ended up in a waterpark pool. Does anybody know how to get to the pool anytime, or do you need a special room to get access? Thanks!

You access the waterslide room from either blizzard beach or typhoon lagoon. I am not sure if there is another way in.
