Okay so first off I'm new to the boards so I'll introduce myself. I'm CAT, married to DH Andy with no kids. Well unless you count me being the big kid that will never grow up.

This will be our 2nd trip to Disney we went in 2008 and are having a reunion trip of sorts this time around. Anyway my question is this:- being from Scotland home of four seasons in one day do people actually visit the waterparks in January (I know they are open) or is it too cold to realistically have fun.

Any advice from people who've been would be great.

Would have been to cold when we went in January but it was freezing at times.

I was there in 2011 and it was cold. not Scottish cold. Aussie cold. about 18 degrees Celsius . basically went on everything once and
got out of there. was nice when in the
sun though.

Been 5 times late Dec into Jan, not a time of year I would go in a waterpark but see what its like when you get there, some days might just be warm enough.

Welcome to DISboards:goodvibes

We've been in Dec, Jan and Feb and its really hit and miss. We've went to the water parks but didnt build them into our plans. Just had to go with the flow and see what the day was like!

I have been in January and went to both waterparks, was great there was hardly anyone there and they were all brits :rotfl:

As others have said keep a check on the weather as it is so changeable at that time of year!
