waterpark help

We are going to Disney August 22-30. My DH, our four DS (ages 9, 8, 4, & 1) and myself.

We want to do a waterpark, but not sure which one. Does anyone have any idea which one is better for the kids?

I personally prefer TL, more relaxing and slower rides. However DD (the 10 year old one - 20 year old just lies there looking cool,trendy and thin!!!) loves BB, needless to say faster rides and there does seem to be much more for her age group. I just love the setting and surroundings of TL. We are lucky to visit for 14 days so we have time to go to both.

Both waterparks have younger childrens areas. The "snow patrol?" area at BB is geared towards 5+.

my kids love BB, they said the kid's area at TL was to babyish. Ski Patrol area is great for all your ds's except the baby. They also have a Tike's Peak area for toddlers. There is also a family raft ride that everyone can ride, you'll probably need 2 rafts, and a lazy river ride. Your older 2 might be able to do some of the bigger slides with an adult.

Both parks sound great, but BB seems to have more for my older sons. The boys are thrilled just to be going to WDW so I'm sure they will be happy with whichever one we chose. Maybe if we're lucky we'll have the time to go to both of them.

We have only gone to BB. I thought it was great. My DDwho was almost 4 at the time we went love the double tube rides at BB. I can't believe how daring she was. They have a ski patrol area that is for young kids (my guess 4 and up) that was really neat. I went on those slides. We will try TL this trip. I will post a comparison when we return on 3/12. My kids are 4 and 6. The only thing that I am concerned about at TL is the wave pool. I have heard that the waves are a lot bigger and rougher. My kids are not great swimmers and that scares me. We plan to hit both waterparks this trip.
