WaterMice rental

Hi, we will be staying at the CBR, but would we be able to rent a water mouse from another resort?
Is there an age restriction on who can drive the boats? Would my 16 year old son be able to drive one?

We rented the watermice from the Grand Floridian dock area on our first trip. My step-son drove one of the boats and he was 17 at the time.

Check with one of the marinas at a resort. I thought I read you only had to be 12 yrs old to drive a water sprite.

You can rent the water mice at any resort that has them available and you only have to be 12 do ride one alone.

From memory - the ones at resorts like CBR are 2 Bhp, but the ones on the 7 seas lagoon are 8 Bhp.

Hopefully someone can confirm these details.
