Watermarking photos

Anyone have any suggestions on a good software for doing this?

Define "good". Does good mean inexpensive or does good mean high quality? Are you just wanting to put a (c) on them or some other fancy font/design?

do you want it to actually be on your prints or just on pics posted online.


I use photo watermark professional a great software that allows a great latitude of options, colors, fonts, embossed all achieved very easily, batch processing, and it will also rename and resize the files if you choose,

now if you just want it to appear on prints online, zenfolio, the hosting site I use, just rolled out a premium service, with it I can put a watermark onmy prints, that actually just appears online,

you can set each individual gallery up so people can buy pics and the pics do not have the watermark..

the normal price for the premium service will be 100 per year, but now thru the end of the year it's 80, and thaat price is locked in for life...

Depends on what kind of watermark. If you just want to add some text, Irfanview has a very powerful batch feature, which includes adding text, you pick the location, font style/color, transparency, etc, etc.

If you want a "photo" watermark (a graphic you create), the hardest part, from my experience, is actually creating that - it needs to be transparent, for example.

I have all mine added by my web gallery software, so I don't do anything on my own PC (apart from create the watermark itself.)
