I see where everyone talks about taking water to the parks- we are staying at beach club so we can't freeze it-if you take it in a bottle with a strap what do you do when you go on the rides-particularly the rollercoasters etc- i see the water in parks are $2- is that for the 16.9 oz or smaller- just trying to decide about waht to bring- we'll eb there Monday!!

I carry my water bottle with the MGM strap everywhere, even in the roller coasters!!! I even put the Mickey straw (the one that screws on the bottle) and it didn't spill!!!! :woohoo:

And the Mickey straw makes the water taste a 100 times better ;)

My wife usually wants to stash a few in our backpack that we take in to the parks. But I prefer to be a minimalist when it comes to hauling things into the park, and I don't mind paying for the water. On most of the rides you can just tuck your bag or whatever it is down at your feet, and you're fine.

As for the bottled water prices, I think there are 2 sizes. I know the large size is $2 and I think it may be 20oz. The smaller size is $1.50 (I think) and it is probably about 12oz. I may not be exactly right on those sizes, but I believe those are the correct prices.

Have a great trip!

And 2$ is for the 16.9 oz bottle... a little expensive, but great so as not to have to drink the warm fountain water (I don't have a problem with the taste, but I HATE warm water!!!!)

Thanks- i think we'll buy it at parks- I only plan to take fanny park for tix and camera- what else do i need?

Sunscreen if you burn easily
A sweater if you get cold in the AC
Your ADR confirmation numbers
Sunglasses
A hat

:bounce: I can't wait till our trip!!!!! :Pinkbounc

We are taking wide mouthed water bottles that clip onto a belt loop or fanny pack strap. We are going to fill them with ice from the hotel before we leave for the park. Then we can drink it as it melts. That's what we do when we go to the pool here. That should at least get us through the morning. We may be able to re-fill them at lunch if we hit someplace that lets you get your own drinks. If not, we'll be stuck using snack credits from the dining plan for water in the afternoon/evening!

We only bring water to MK and AK. We found that Epcot's water fountains are usually very cold. We would ask for ice every chance we get. (even the Disney pushcart CM will give you ice when ask) :)

We stayed at the Yacht Club last month and turned the temperature all the way up in the fridge and by morning, our water bottles had frozen. :thumbsup2
