Are the water view rooms at CSR clustered in any particular building block or are they spread throughout the property?

At WDW, a room is considered water view if you can see a pool, a lake, a menacing rain cloud, a big puddle, part of a big puddle... (no, not really ;))...
OK seriously, if you can see some permanent water feature of most any kind, then it's a WV room. Take a look at the map, and you'll see the many possibilities at CSR. BTW, we love the mods, but do realize that you won't get much of any view, if you value your privacy. If you open your curtain to see the view, then everyone walking by your room can see you.

Your question was answered but I wanted to add - I've gotten water view rooms twice at CSR. Both times in Cabanas section. One 2nd floor room the window faced a walkway so if we had the curtains open people naturally looked in our room as they walked toward it if their eyes were facing forward...didn't really care for that..the CM did warn me the view was bad but the room was ready early so we went for it. The 2nd room was a corner room with two windows on the 1st floor, there was a sliver of water visible thru the bushes from one window and the other window faced bushes and part of the building. I only book water view at moderates if standard isn't available :boat:

Our "water view" room at CSR faced the top of a tree - I couldn't see a bit of water. We checked in at 4 a.m. (long story - delayed flight) or I would have asked to be moved from the start. I wouldn't have booked water view except it was cheaper with my AP discount than a standard room and no standards were available. I don't think I'd pay extra for it.

There are questionable waterview rooms at all the resorts but here are a few I had.
