I want to be the first to report that the rain last night has connected the water under the bridge behind the Meadows. It's just a small small amount but hey it's a start. If the rain keeps coming maybe we'll get to canoe the 4th lol.

Yeah :) Keep us posted.

We went to the pool for a coke and now the water is really under the bridge. There was a trackhoe digging under the bridge to make it deeper. I'm sure the cart barn is missing the money lost from canoe rentals so my instincts tell me they're trying to get the canoes going again as they have been unable to rent for a while now.

This is what I call up-to-date realtime information...lol, thanks!

When I saw the post, I thought you were making amends with someone :)
By the way Stacktester off topic, but we need a hotel for a couple of nights in Jacksonville near our inlaws before heading down to Disney in about a month, do you know anything about the La Quinta Inn on Lenoir Avenue near Butler Blvd.? Or possibly can recommend a clean, safe moderately priced place to stay near Arlington/University blvd.? Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm thinking the Suburban Lodge at Atlantic and St. Johns Bluff. Anything in that area up by University is blighted. There is a Hampton behind Regency Square Mall but it's around $100 a night. That would put you close though and it's clean.

Thank you. Yeah, I've always thought there house wasn't in the best of areas...

bumping..........any updates? anyone just back who can tell us what the water levels look like? is the bike barn renting canoes again?

Are the still running the pump behind the 300 loop, pumping the water out of FW into the lake?
