Water Temp at Castaway Cay??

How would I go about learning the current water temps at Casataway Cay. We sail on Sunday and just wanted to get an idea.

Diving in January at Nassau the min. water temp. on my dive computer was 77 F.

You might check wunderground.com/tropical/ and look at sea surface temperature

We were on Castaway Cay on Friday 5/4 (7-day eastern). The water was a little chilly at first, but you got used to it pretty quickly. My DD (4.5) and DS (2) did not notice the chill and jumped right in. I went back in after lunch, and it did not take long to adjust.

OMG diving in January and minimum water temp of 77.. that sounds like heaven. I live in Florida but figured the temperatures wouldnt be too different from me in the Bahamas but boy was I wrong LOL.. I was thinking November (when we are planning on cruising) would be kinda chily.. Im glad to know its still gonna be HOT lol

The current sea surface temperature in the CC area is approximately 28' Celsius. That equates to about 82' Fahrenheit.

The coldest water temperature ever recorded in the region is 72 degrees.
That's swimable to me. The only issue we had on Castaway Cay was that the AIR temperature was also about 72 degrees, so it felt a little cool getting OUT of the water.

Hot damn, wish our ocean water would get that warm in the summer... our January 04 trip the CC water was quite nice. So I imagine May would great.

I was also there on May 4, and the sign said 78, but it felt a little warmer than that to me. Air temp was around 82 and the water felt really good!
