we have 2 children under 3 & are debating on which strollers to bring. i'm just wondering if you can bring the stroller on the water taxi open w/ child in it or if (like taking a bus), you have to fold it up & carry it on. if we have to fold them up, we'll take our lighter-weight ones. also, is it quicker to walk in the a.m. to the parks? are there long lines for the water taxi? (we're looking at RP in may) thanks.

I would take the fold up strollers. If staying at the RPR, I would walk to the park in the morning. The walk is a lot shorter than it looks - only takes about 8 minutes. We waited for the water taxi - long line, had to wait for the second one - took over 30 minutes to get to the park.

You can wheel them right on. If a boat is there when you head out, grab it especially if you are heading to USO. RPR is closest to IOA. The walk to either is easy and pleasant but if the boats there its just as easy.:)
