Hey guys!
I wanted your expert opinion on whether water shoes at the water parks is important? We have never used them at other water parks, but we also have not done a water park and then marched all over DW!!! What do you think? Thanks!

You will get answers all over the place.

DS and I wear them.

The sidewalks are rough, the wave pools are rough, the sidewalks get hot ... and few other more personal reasons; blister issue from parks, the "germ" issue, past having feet sunburn ...

We do not do the three high drop body slides but we do everything else and we don't have to take them off.

Our family is split. I hate them. Never wear them. My husband won’t go without. My daughter wears them about half the time. It is really just personal preference.

I am barefoot most of the time, so I did not wear them when I last went to typhoon lagoon. I totally regretted it. I could almost not walk across glass barefoot, but the pavements were sooooo hot. Waiting in line for slides without them was torture. I’d def get a cheap pair and wear them whenever we go back.

We wore our flip flops around and left them at the end of the water rides. We found that we didn't need them in the wave pool.

Yes, I think they're important. We wore ours the entire time at Typhoon Lagoon. They almost came off in the wave pool though.

All 4 of us wore ours and were baffled by those not wearing them and wincing as they crossed the pavement. I heard multiple people saying that they should have brought them, including one guy who said a pair would be worth 10k to him. LOL. We all had new pairs and were happy with them.
