We have visited the Theme parks many time but never been to any of the water parks. We have a 6 & a 2. What would be the best water park to visit? And tell us a little about them, please.

6 is fine, a 2 year old that is rough. There isn't much you can do in the water parks with a 2 year old. Your find yourself in the kiddie area all day or just walking around. Plus, if a thunderstorm rolls into the park, it can be dangerous since people run and rush to find shelter. The park will not allow you near water thus making the area for shelter more crowded, also CM will not let you seek shelter in an ungrounded area of the water park.

All the parks closed last week at least once a day since they filled to capacity. It was Crowded

I know your six -y-o would love it for sure. My newly 7 DD had a ball and she was very adventurous there. She rode ALL slides and snorkled with the fish and sharks. It seems tamer than BB and it has alot of shade. If you arrive at opening you can snag an umbrella near the kiddie section or the wave pool/beach.
There is a nice kid's area that has a low maximum age limit that your younger child would probably like. It might be hard having one so young at a water park, but I love TL for families!!

Oh Yes! Water shoes are a must for the kids and adults!! And life vests are available!

I thought you had to be ten to swim with the sharks?

Does anyone know for sure?

We just got back. Children who are under 10 must be accompanied by an adult on Shark Reef. (My DS is 8, and there were lots of kids MUCH younger. I know I saw at least one three year old kind of "riding" on his father's back. They have life vests available for kids who are not strong swimmers.)

We like both BB and TL. For children, I might be tempted to go to BB simply because there are two areas for kids. Tike's Peak is for the really little ones, and there's lots of play room. Ski Patrol Training Camp is spectacular for the slightly more adventurous. (There's lots that a 6-year-old would enjoy.)

TL is a lot shadier and prettier, but there's only one kids' area, and I wouldn't take a two year old near that wave pool! (The surf waves are frighteningly big!) On the other hand, the slides at TL are tamer and you could do a bunch of stuff besides the kids' areas with your 6 year old.

You'll love either. BB has less shade but more area for the 10 and under set. TL is gorgeous with tame slides, but the wave pool is not as kid-friendly. We have always gone to BB until this past time. DS loved TL, but he is now 8 and completely fearless!

We love the water parks..I have been taking my two aged 7 and 4 since the youngest was one.

He loved and still does, love sitting in the rings going round and round on the lazy rivers. They have rings that are joined in the middle so you can pop the little one on and float. I used to swim along beside him.
