Water Parks

This is our third trip to WDW, but now we are considering adding a day at the water parks. We have 8 yr old triplets, (one with ASD, one with ADHD.) All three are good swimmers and love the water, and we've done a small water park before. But with our ASD son, we always have to have an adult, so if we were to go down slides, one adult would be at the bottom, one at the top. Or rides where an adult is in close proximity. He's a thrill seeker, but with that, doesn't recognize danger.

We think they would LOVE Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. Are there any tips that we should know prior so we can choose which will be best for us? And advice on must dos/must not dos?

TIA!

Other than a family raft ride you would have to go down separately. Once you clear the slide iself you have to exit the water and cannot stand immediately next to the landing area. There are lifeguards at the top and bottom of each slide to handle any problems.

Blizzard Beach has a great pre-teen area, and the slides there are visible top to bottom. There's also a zero-entry pool in that section, with a fun obstacle course, a zipline (my daughter did a flip off that and scared me to death!) and some beach chairs too.

I have an ASD son and Blizzard Beach was the best for us. I seem to remember there were more double rider slide there and that family raft ride is very fun.

I did get temporary tattoos for him that were a puzzle piece. They said I have Autism...if lost please call (and then you write the number). I thought this might be helpful for not only getting lost but to alert he CM's to his condition. They were really too busy to notice this so I would suggest on the smaller kiddie slides that you give the CM's a heads up.

You will get differing opinions but if I had to choose one park it would be BB. Most times we do both so I don't have to choose. The wave pool at TL is better though.
