Hiya Everyone

Just trying to gather as much information as possible before visiting the Water Parks (Disney Mainly).

Are guests permitted to wear T-Shirts or Swimming Shirts (Rash Guards etc) In the water.

Whats the rules on glasses aswell

Many Thanks!

Shane

I've seen lots of rash guard shirts, can't recall any reg. tshirts. dh and I have worn sunglasses all day and even down slides. Sometimes I just hold them in my hand if it's a bouncy slide. haven't lost a pair yet but they do get wet. Maybe bring a little towel/napkins if they're Rx glasses and you really need them to see.
Typhoon Lagoon is our fav. :goodvibes

Thanks very much for such a quick reply

I'm glad to see that you have seen people wearing rash guard's. If we are going I didnt want to seem "Out of place". :rotfl2:

I love Typhoon Lagoon also. I think that Crush'N Gusher is great, I just wish that they would have made it a little longer. I also love the speed slides, and the lazy river. Next time we are down there we are going to give blizzard beach a try.

If you are near a sport store, get some eye glass straps, I think they are "turtle" something. They look like a thick shoe string, but have ends that slip over the ear piece of your glasses and hold them snug to your head. When I was at BB the last time, the life guard asked me if I had them.

I think these are called "Croakers" or "Croakies" something like that.
My dad uses them while boating.

:wizard: Thanks again

Yep, Irish name (Not many) :thumbsup2

Regular t-shirts are allowed as well. The only time you will have to take off your glasses is if you ride a body slide (Summitt Plummit, Humunga Kowabunga, Slush Gusher). You will just be asked to hold them in your hand when you ride those rides.

Thanks, I knew it was a water creature of some sort. Frog, not turtle.

I wore a T-shirt the whole time (burn too easily) The glasses were hit or miss some guards made me hold them some left me wear them and this was on the same slide! I like when I can wear them cause I'm blind as a bat and like to see the scenery. I'm also more afraid of breaking them holding them than wearing them. I would just wear them and if they wanted them off the would signal and I take them off.

A rash guard, if im not mistaken is a T-Shirt based wetsuit, although much thinner than a wetsuit, but uses the same material (or similar). Alot of "Surfers" where them, they help against UV Protection and keep you warm.

Thanks again for the information.

Yep I have a Croakie from last year :thumbsup2

Which waterpark are you looking to visit so we can give you some info about it.

My favorite is Blizzard beach. They have some cool racing slides and the tallest waterslide in the United States (well it was the last time I saw the travel channel's top water parks). They also have some great inner tube rides and the lazy river.

It's been awhile since I've been to TL, but I remember the theming was great! There is a wave pool there that people either love or hate. They also have some thing were you can snorkel and check out some sharks and stuff. Something I haven't been able to ride is the "Crush n gusher" which is a water roller coaster. It looks really cool.
