Hi all
I have read somewhere that ladies planning on going to the water parks, especially the slides, should wear one-piece swimming costumes.
Bikinis are obviously not a good idea ........not if you still want to be wearing the top when you arrive at the bottom but how about those suits comprising of shorts style bottoms and tankini top..you know the ones with the internal support???
Id really like to know in advance (dont relish finding out to the contrary on the way down guys!! LOL) whether these type of costumes stay in place.
Thanks :o

whatever top you go for, you only need to ride the slide with your arms crossed over your chest, like youre holding your shoulders.

I wear a shorts tankini combo to the water parks and have been fine. Then again I didn't go down summit plummit

Thank you
I will heed the advice on crossing my arms!

Good to know that others have worn shorts tankini combo with success.;)

I never had a problem with the bathing suit top. The problem is the bottom, if it one piece or two, you still need a cro - bar to get it out ot there!

I am not a big fan of water slides and have never done the slides at Disney, but have gone down the Leap of Faith (60 foot vertical drop) at the Mayan Temple Slide at Atlantis. If it is as high and steep as that one I suggest you keep your arms crossed and also keep your ankles crossed so you do not get hurt.

I did that slide on a bet and I will never do that again! That slide ruined it for me, it was pretty scary up there!

Holy C&@P!

Its very important to cross your legs, unless you want your suit in places its not suppose to be. Believe me take it from someone who has a real experience with the water slides. My first time, everyone said cross your arms. Well they forgot to tell me to cross my legs. By the time I got to the end of the slide my swimsuit was so far up my ******* I didn't think I would ever be able to pull it out(LOL) I am smiling now, but it was no fun then!!!

CROSS YOUR LEGS AND CLOSE YOUR EYES;)

When I was in high school my friends and I would stand at the bottom of the water slides and check out the sights. :D Plus laugh at people picking their wedgies. :p

My well-endowed daughter did not fare well with a tankini on Summit Plummet. I think the folks watching enjoyed it though! She was mortified.

Absolutely, keep those legs together on Summit Plummet. Otherwise you get the mother of all wedgies.

Keep that in mind and you'll be as modest as Doris Day.

I always wore my swimsuit that I bought for doing laps at the gym. It's a one piece with a high neckline and is stitched to cross in the back with no clasps anywhere to come undone. The leg-holes aren't too high either.

It may not be the hottest fashion swimwear but they are sporty looking, not too bad. BUT, I don't have to worry about it one bit and I have a blast on the slides! (but I don't go near summit plummet either)

I save the ones that might "fail" me for the hotel pool.
