water parks on 4th of July

We have 1 day in Orlando on the 4th of July before our cruise. We have 1 day park passes left but thought as crowded as the MK is going to be we thought we would save them for another time. Than it hit me I have enough Disney Dollars(visa) saved up to by 4 water park passes. So the water park would be a free day visit for us. Is it worth the 200$ or will it just be as busy as the parks?

We were at TL on the 4th last year. It was a great way to spend the 4th at Disney without all of the crowds of the parks.
