Has anyone done either of the water parks in late January? I know it all depends on weather, but I was just curious what your experience was.

Because DS wants to Disney Quest and I can't do a whole day there, we're getting the upgraded tickets (which are less than admission to DQ for military, anyway) and the water parks are included. I just wondered if they were worth going to on the typical 70 degree day. Thanks!

We went to a water park in January and it was fine. The weather was in the 70s and overcast. We stayed about four hours. It was Blizzard Beach. Only one water park is open in January as one is always closed for re-frub. In 2007 Typhoon Lagoon is open the first few days and then it closes and Blizzard Beach opens.

All that being said there have been days in January I wouldn't go to the water park because its been too cold and rainy.

Have Fun!!
