DBF and I are going to WDW next month, complete with the park hopper that will let us go to Disney Quest, Pleasure Island, Wide World of Sports, and unfortunately, the water parks. DBF cannot wait to go to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. I, on the other hand, am less than thrilled. It's DBF's big birthday trip, though, so I want to please him - is it possible for a non-swimmer to enjoy the water parks? Keep in mind, I am a bit afraid of the water and have a few minor near-drowning experiences. What could I try out at the water parks that I won't be absolutely frightened by? Slides are pretty much out of the question, as I never have liked regular slides, let alone water slides. Teamboat springs at Blizzard Beach does not seem to bad, any thoughts?
TIA!

). And if the slide issue is a fear of the water, many of the slides end up in just inches of water, not over your head. If it's the feeling of actually sliding, I would encourage you to skip them.
