In Febuary is it 2 cold 2 go to water parks cos i read sumwhere dat it is , is this true?

Thanx Lisa x

Hi Lisa,

I went this February for the first time having only been in October before.

I don't think it warm enough for a water park but having said that it was apparantly much colder than normal when I was there. It warmed up considerably the day I left to come home which was the 20th so it can depend which part of the month too I guess?:earseek:

Hopefully someone who has been other years can shed some light on the average weather in Feb,and if there is a differnece the beginning or end of the month?!

I think it depends on the day. We went to Blizzard Beach in January and it was warmish. Hubby still ended up with a cold and cough tho but I was fine. I'm sure you'll be ok if you wait for quite a warm day.

On both my trips in Jan & Feb we've been to the water parks, but it was a flexible date (especially last time when it was particularly cold), but DD had a scream and it was OK - the water was pleasant enough (& I don't do cold).

We went feb 2001 and went to 2 water parks:) I really think it depends on the weather:Pinkbounc

We always fit in at least one water park in February but you do have to be careful with the weather. We always check the weather channel to see which days are going to be best, they are normally pretty accurate.

The water is heated in the parks so we have never had a problem once there and much prefer to go in the quieter months. The parks are alot less busy then.

You will find that only one of Disney's water parks will be open in Feb. as one is always closed for refurbishment (and to save money) This year Blizzard Beach was open so likely will be Typhoon Lagoon in 2005

We have always been able to do a water park in Feb, even if it was only once. Our plans are always flexible so if the forecast is good off we go. The week Kazzie was there I wouldnt have gone to a water park either, we went the previous week.
You just have to take it as it comes unfortunately.

We went the last week in feb and first week in march this year.We did all a water parks as it was hot when we were there. One of the disney waters was closed for our first week.We now realise that we were very lucky with the weather we had.
