Water parks.....at night.....extra fee??

I remember on a trip a few years ago, that Typhoon Lagoon stayed opened past closing. You had to buy another ticket for the evening. There was a band playing.....beach music. Do they still do anything like this?

I know that private groups sometimes rent out the water parks after hours.
