Water parks and Magic bands

I knew it was going to be a process getting my old tickets linked to MDE and I was right, but the cast members at the Disney travel desk we incredibly helpful and made sure we got it right. Now my DW and I have our park passes linked to my MDE so we are ready to go...well sort of.

In addition to our regular park passes, we have 8 days of "water parks and more" remaining from an old 10 day no exp ticket which is on an old KTTW card which are still valid and for which I have linked them to my MDE account, but they do not show up on the list of linked tickets. That's right...I received an e-mail that the ticket was linked but it does not show up on the list of linked tickets. The reason I was given was because since there are no park pass days remaining on the ticket then MDE does not recognize it as a valid linkable ticket.

This also means that when I go to the water parks, I cannot use my magic band for admission since MDE does not recognize the old pass.

Not sure how to resolve this other than I may have to carry around my old KTTW card for admission to the water parks.

Not sure if anyone has experience this before and/if they were able to resolve the issue.
Thanks

If still no joy, get the WP tickets linked when you are at WDW.

If you got the email that it was linked, are you sure it isn't? I linked similar tickets (with water park options) however they still have a couple park days left. I see the park days on MDE, but the water park days do not show up. I assume they are available, but with them not showing up I am nervous to rely on them being linked. I assume I will need to also bring the actual tickets to the water park just in case.

In addition, I have several tickets with only water park options from years ago that are still valid but haven't linked them yet. I am not sure if I should.
