We wear a bathing suit and cover up, which for me and DD is a tank and shorts.

I wear my swimsuit and a t-shirt/shorts over it (I don't actually have a swimsuit cover-up). Saves time when I arrive, not having to change my clothes.

But I also change out of the wet swimsuit before leaving the waterpark - I've tried putting the t-shirt and shorts over the wet suit, but don't like having my shorts and T get wet if my swimsuit isn't completely dry.

I wear my bathing suit with a loose-ish sundress over it that I can take off and I don't mind if I have to ball it up in my bag. Going home, I like that it's loose because I hate tight wet clothes over a bathing suit! I think you'll be fine wearing either, but I personally find it a lot easier and faster to just wear my bathing suit under my clothes and not change there.

We drive to the water parks, but if we were going to ride the bus, I would bring shorts and a tank top to wear over top of my bathing suit on the bus.

Thanks for all your answers. With the bus changes, I think we will wear our clothes and then change at the park. We do have a cabana so we don't have to worry about chairs and stuff.
