Water Park with wheelchair

Can anyone tell me how equiped the water parks are for persons with mobilty problems. And is it worth buying the water park fun options? I am going with my husband and DD 6 in Aug, and I was hoping that I can purchase them those tickets and me just the theme park tickets. I don't think I want to sit in the hot sun all day why they enjoy the water park, I can just hang back at the hotel or do some shopping. I know that everybody has to be on the same ticket option, but wonder if they can make an adjustment in those cases.

If you've booked a package, everyone has to have the same tickets when you book, but you can upgrade tickets individually after you check in.

I would suggest you post this question on the DisABILITIES forum.

I know the main polls are zero entry and there is a lift, but that is all _I_ know.

If you can transfer out a wheelchair you can do some stuff at Typhoon Lagoon. The lazy river and shark reef has a thing to lower you into the water at one entry point I think but you need to be able to swim a little once in the water. If I remeber right crush'n'gusher has a lift to the top, but then you need to transfer into the tube. Most other slides are stair access only. But this is based on memory only and I don't need a wheelchair myself!

there is zero entry at the main pool, shark reef and the lazy river. So if you can transfer you can do some things.

You may want to look at the disabilities board. There was a post about this fairly recently I believe. If not, I'm sure if you ask people will be able to help you out.
