My DW's family is joining us for a week stay in a grand villa at AKL in July. I know I can't get the member discount on APs for them but what about the discounts on water parks and PI? They are purchasing APs, but don't want the PAPs since they are so much higher.

DVC members get discounts on water park tickets. I think PI tickets, too. A member has to buy them, but you'll need to check and see if there's a maximum number of tickets you can buy at the discount.

The discount is $4 on an adult ticket and $3 for children (3-9). No mention on the member website of limits or relationship/address requirements.

If they're buying AP's, you don't have to worry about DVC member discounts. AP holders get the following discounts:

Passholders and their guests (up to 3 guests per visit) can get special savings of $4 off adult admission (ages 10 and up) and $3 off child admission (ages 3-9) at the following places:

-- Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island

-- DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park

-- Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

-- Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Specially Ticketed Events at the Magic Kingdom Park - Watch for discounts on "Day Of" admission price for the following special ticket events at the Magic Kingdom Park:

- Disney's Pirate and Princess Party
- Night of Joy
- Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
- Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Discount is only available on selected nights, based on a limited availability, and does not apply to "Advance Sales" admission price for these special ticket events. The Passholder may purchase up to a total of four discount tickets. The discount is available on select nights and is based on availability. Proof of valid Passholder I.D. required at time of pickup.

Miniature Golf - 50% off for Passholder and up to three guests playing with you at Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course or Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course.

AMC Theatres Pleasure Island 24 - Receive $2 off adult evening admission price seven days a week after 6:00 p.m. Offer is valid for the Passholder only and not valid with any other offer or discount.

Thanks to all who responded. I guess if they get their own APs they would get the same discount I get as DVC. I forgot about AP discounts since I usually use the DVC ones.
