My youngest won't wear the arm floast or anything for that matter, just goes beserk, but I have succeeded with thsoe My Pool Pal swimsuits. (The suits that have the floast built inside.) Will the water parsk permit these? Anyone know? I'm pretty sure the AKL pool will allow them though?
Thanks!

I called the park (TL) before we went in January and they said we could not bring the built-in float/bathing suit into the park. They gave us a flotation vest for my youngest to use free of charge (had to leave a driver's license) which worked fine. That said, however, I did notice that several people had their own baby floats or built in swimsuit flotation devices. I would definitely bring the suit and hope for the best. BTW I wasn't sure how my youngest would react to the vest but she did just fine.

UGH... Maybe I'll go ahead and put it on her and then bring a backup in my bag just in case. We have tried everything on the market including life vests and she FREAKS OUT. I mean imagine the worse toddler tantrum imaginable here. Bummer... I was so happy when she wore the swimsuit with floats built in with little resistance. She is even getting the hang out of swimming a tad in it. She has not taken to the water as quickly as my oldest, who is now a fish.

We went last summer and saw lots of people breaking the no floaties "rule." I wish they would enforce the rule or do away with it!!

We were at Blizzard Beach this past July 4th. DS was one of many children wearing arm floaties. I was worried whether they were allowed, but nobody said anything about it. He wore them all over, even on the lazy river, the chair lift, and the family raft ride. I also saw all kinds of personal flotation devices being used by kids, vests, swimsuits with floats in them, and floatation rings that go in a vest-type thing. Didn't seem to be a problem at all. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I can imagine it- I know it well! LOL Well, I kinda have the same situation you do- or rather DID. My older two are like fish just like I was as a child - but my youngest would freak out with arm floaties, vest, you name it. A little different though- the only thing she seems to love now is one of those round floats she is just inside and holding on. She now loves the water with that- and only that. *rolling my eyes* Kids.... LOL

I hope you are able to use the floaty swimsuit. Because I sure CAN imagine that worst toddler tantrum imaginable. LOL

lenshanem -- I'm sure my description wasn't too good, but I did see several children wearing swimsuits that had those "floatie things" built right in the suit at Blizzard Beach on July 4th. Good luck, I'm sure y'all will do fine.

You're welcome. :)

I really don't see why they'd refuse to allow those anyway. It's part of the suit! So I wonder what their reasoning is on disallowing that?

Also I wonder what they'd say if you said that's her swimsuit- that's all she has- so she has to go naked now or we don't get to come in the park at all or what?????????
LOL

If they told me she couldn't waer it I could just play stupid and say OK, I'll remmeber that for next time, thanks! And walk away...
