Hello!

Is it true that the water parks start to clear out around 3pm?

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

I guess that depends on when you go....we are used to visiting in may and mostly in June....we had found that in the summer months when the water parks were open until 7 or 7:30pm that the best plan was to enter the parks around 3-4pm as they generally started to clear out as other guest were returning to their rooms to prepare for dinner/evening plans...you could really get alot done in those 3-4 hours, especially the last couple of hours when the parks would really clear out....In 2003, we decided to go over easter week and the water parks were closing at 6pm and we did notice that with the earlier closing time the water parks did not clear out nearly as much as they did with the later closing times...Im wondering how it's going to be this June? I did a search on historical hours from 2003 and it showed that the water parks closed at 6pm all through June last year! a reduction in operating hours of 1.5 hours per day! If that is the case again this year; I would imagine that it will still be less busy in the water parks after 3 or 4pm, but, my guess is that it won't clear out nearly as much as it used to with the longer hours..

My personal experience has always been just the opposite.
We always arrive first thing in the AM and usually don't encounter many crowds/lines.
Around 1-2, it seems as though the lines start growing. Maybe it thins out again in the late afternoon, but we're usually out of there by 3.

Typically, the last few times we went it was somewhat off season (Nov/Oct), and yes I guess you could say that it does get somewhat less crowded. Most people who arrive right when it opens, pretty much have done most of what they wanted to do by 3:00 - 4:00 (and this is when the park hours are 10-5:00). Also, most folks may want to get going and ready should they have dinner/park plans.
