Water Park Question for the Ladies

I've never done summit plummit but I have done Humunga Cowabunga and I had a major painful wedgie, so I won't do any of those slides again! :rotfl2:

This is amazing.

Within the last month or so there was another thread about this same thing (women's swimwear at WDW waterparks).

I posted that there were lots of stories about "losing" parts of swim outfits on the waterslides.

But on THAT thread, virtually ALL of the later responders (and there were LOTS) basically "pooh-poohed" that whole thing and told the OP not to worry about such things.

I don't get it.

Strange how some threads "run one way" at one time... and then "the other way" at a different date.

I figured a tankini would turn out to be just as bad as a bikini top so I've been searching high and low for a one-piece (not as easy as one may think). Are you saying that there wouldn't be a problem with a tankini top??

Hopperfan: Thank you for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:
If that person is reading this, you have a great senes of humor, I applaud you. That was hysterical!! I would've died..... :goodvibes :rotfl:

Don't think I'll be going on any of those slides anytime soon. :)

Hooperfan.. Thanks for the laugh.... Thats sooo funny.... Bless your heart... I am going out to get a full on wet suit for this one.. HA HA just kidding but you can bet I will have something that WILL NOT come off...

disneydream'n, don't listen to anyone here....a bikini will be fine, and as for the instructions that the lifeguards give you to cross your arms across your chest, well...thats not necessary either. ;)
Summit Plummit is really not THAT bad...but there is an incredible rush of speed and by the time you hit the bottom trough, you are moving pretty good...I've had an atomic wedgie wearing men's board shorts, so I can imagine most woman's swim wear will do the same. The slide is a lot of fun, and over pretty quickly...the view from the top is great. I guess if I were you (and female), I would be really cautious wearing a two piece. If you do chose to wear one (which I always condone :rolleyes1 ) just hold on tight to the top by keeping your arms tight across your chest.
Have fun!

OMG!!!! :rotfl2: PLeae take note that this is a guy saying this :rotfl2: wondering if he is one of those guys in the seating area!!! :rotfl2:

So I take it he would not be offened or concerned if you hade a bathing suit malfunction :rotfl2:

TOO FUNNY!!!!!

the seating at the end of summit plummit is affectionately reffered to as 'pervert row'.........in fact, I personally witnessed a team of teenage boys that seemed to have a system set up where one would stand at the top of the mountain and alert his buddy down below when a female with a bikini was getting on Summit Plummet. lol.
