Water park/Disney Quest annual pass questions

Just realized there is an annual pass for water parks and Disney quest, SO excited! Trying to find "official" info on this pass, but coming up short. Would like to know where to purchase, and if year begins on purchase date or first use. Would love to go ahead and get these purchased for an upcoming trip.

The water park annual pass is only for the water parks, not Disney Quest.

It will expire 1 year from the first use.

Not sure about where to buy these (if you can do so by calling, or in person). I don't see them listed on the Disneyworld website. So not sure about start-end dates. I would start by calling DisneyWorld by telephone. These are in the category of Annual Passes.

Even though wdwmagic.com and https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/ don't mention the Water Park plus DisneyQuest annual pass, two other places do. First is Cheshire Figment's Ticket Sticky, "Everything About WDW Tickets," Post #3, Annual Passes and Water Park Tickets. ...The other APs are the Water Park Hopper, the Disney Quest Annual Pass, and the Water Park Hopper Plus Disney Quest Combined Annual Pass. These do not provide the benefits such as discounts and are very limited. The only discount for the Water Park Annual Pass is renewal rates...​

I just think you'll have to call. These aren't as popular as other passes, so a lot of info isn't available online. I know Annual Passes (for parks) can be purchased online in the form of a voucher that is converted to an AP when you visit a ticket booth in person, thus not dated until your in-person visit. But if the initial AP purchase is in person, it's dated that day. If your AP is converted from a MYW ticket that's already being used, it's dated to the first use of the MYW ticket. Etc, etc. A TiW dinner discount card bought by phone is dated to the purchase date, not when first used at WDW, so that's different, too. The details of different WDW tickets, passes and cards is mind-boggling.
