Planning a last minute (long story) trip for next week-end. DS realy wants to go to a water park because we have never been to one. I'm looking at the weather (I know too far ahead) but wondered if anyone knows the guideline for closing the park due to cold.

Also, are there towels available? Trying to only do carry-on's...

Don't know about the towels but I noticed when the water park was closed this past week, the temps were usually 60 or lower

Towels can be rented at the water park. Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed for refurbishment. Only Blizzard Beach is open but has been closing the past week due to the cold.

If it's cold enough to close it, you wouldn't want to be there anyway. In the water is one thing, but wet and climbing to the top of a slide and waiting your turn shivering is a whole other thing. :)

We were there on 1/2 and the water parks were closed. I believe the temps were in the low 60's that day.
