Ha, it's super preachy but at work it's one of the messages we build into our show. The statistics are staggering (30,000,000 bottles a DAY end up in landfills or in the ocean) and I'll spare you the sad videos of animals dying from eating plastic from the ocean, but I'll just say I'm much more aware of my habits from now on.

I understand. I was just thinking the other day after seeing a similiar statistic how many bottles I've thrown out.

For the most part I drink from the same reusable water bottle I've had for 15 years. Sometimes I do buy water bottles, almost always to freeze to cool food when camping and then drink when thawed in places where tap water is unavailable. It's hard to think back to when bottle water became popular but I've probably wasted about 5 or 6.
