A few years ago when we cruised Disney, we had a case of water delivered from Staples to port and it was waiting in our stateroom when we arrived. Has Disney changed their policy on this? If they still allow, can you refresh my memory on procedure for doing this. Also what is current policy for taking alcohol on board. Thanks so much!

No hard liquor. You can take on either a 6 pack of beer or one bottle of wine at each port, per person over the age of 21. Not sure about the water.

Delivery of one box per room is allowed, but it cannot contain any food products. All liquids need to be in your carry on. This includes bottled water.

Here is the current alcohol policy:

Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage.

Guests wishing to consume wine or champagne that they have brought on board in one of the dining rooms will be charged a corking fee of $25.00 per bottle.

DCL no longer accepts outside vendor deliveries at the port. As noted, any beverages you wish to take onboard must be carried on, not in your checked bags.
