Are you allowed to bring in a water bottle that you have filled up with water from your resort? Or only unopened disposal water bottles?

You can even get ice water for free at quick-service locations, to refill your bottle. Or use the bottle refill stations.

Thanks everyone! I just remember being told one time if I brought in bottle water to make sure it was unopened or they would through it out. Maybe I was getting this confused with TSA rules. Thanks!!

I have seen this rule at other theme parks, although Disney allows opened water bottles and refillable ones. There is a small theme park near me with this rule (although they do typically allow refillable bottles, despite this rule).

Just note that if your water bottle is metal, you will need to take it out of your bag and hold it out in front of you (along with umbrellas and eyeglass cases) when you go through the security screening.

I carry a Yeti with me in all parks. Oddly enough, the only time I've ever had a problem was on RotR. One of the guards, completely in character, pulled me out of the room pre-interrogation and took me "for further questioning." I went in a cast-only area and was directed to a bathroom where I had to dump my water out in the sink. Only time it's ever happened. I've ridden Rise multiple times since then with the same cup and never had a problem again.

I have a metal plate in my head and a hip replacement, am I going to set off alarms?

Can you bring other drinks into the park? Like if I fill up the resort mug with coffee in the morning, can I bring that in with me (and just rinse it out and stash it in the backpack when I'm finished)?

Depends on what kind of metal - most modern joint replacements are titanium and don’t set off the alarm. I have a shoulder replacement and can walk right through. If you can go through airport scanners without setting off alarms, you’ll be fine. I’d say just go through, and if the alarm sounds, they’ll quickly wand you and send you into the park.

you can bring any non-alcoholic beverage you want into the park. No glass containers.

We always bring a brita water bottle with us. Saves us from purchasing water anywhere and removes any off flavors. Even though WDW water is much better than it used to be.

Do you wet your pants and forget who you are for about half an hour every time Catherine runs the microwave?

Otherwise, you'll be fine: rod and screws in my leg haven't hindered me.

Half the population in Florida has some kind of metal somewhere in their bodies. Lol So that’s the last place I even give it a thought.

I just point down and say “I got knees” in case something gets triggered and usually get waved through.
