DW and I are heading to WDW in 8 days. We are staying at Kidani at AK the first few days. Then we are at Poly for 6 days. We would love to hear where the best place to see Wishes from the resort. Thanks

When we are at the Poly, there are 2 places we like to watch the fireworks. The first is out at the point at Poly, our fav. The only drawback is that you can not always hear the music - it depends on the amount of people there. The other place is the walkway just before you go out to the point. If you stand next to the speakers, you can hear everything ! Good luck.

I would advise going down to the beach pretty early to grab some beach chairs. Drag them back towards the walkway and then park there until the fireworks start. You can get a great view, have a seat and be close to the speakers. It makes for a nice evening :thumbsup2

The Poly has 3 different beaches, and the view of Wishes is fantastic from all of them. The one that is in the middle, closest to the featured volcano pool, is loudest and the most crowded, so if you want a more private setting, go to one of the others. The beach in front of Tahiti (toward the CR) probably has a slightly more head-on view than the beach in front of Aotearoa (toward the GF).

If hearing the sound track is important to you, you absolutely must be near a speaker from which you can hear the music. I agree with PP that you should arrive early to stake out a spot. Find a place where you can hear the Polynesian theme music playing in the background. If you can see the castle and hear the music, you're in a perfect spot.

While you're there, enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant at 9PM. It's short and sweet, but a classic!

We absolutely adore the sights and sounds from the beach at the Poly! They're even better with a tropical beverage from either the Barefoot Bar (near pool) or Tambu Lounge (2nd floor of GCH).

Aloha!

You can try booking reservations for Ohana during Wishes too, they also pipe up the music as well during Wishes. Just ask for a table by the window

I would recommend standing in the Beach area that's in front of the Hawaii Longhouse because Cinderella's Castle is straight ahead and I know that's one area where the music get played at.

Another really awesome place to watch Wishes is from the Ferry boat. We accidentally ended up having the best seats in the house by boarding the Ferry at the Ticket & Transportation Center headed towards MK. We were on the top level of the Ferry and were able to watch the entire show while headed towards MK. As soon as we got to the dock at MK the fireworks were over and we got on our bus to take us back to our resort. It was perfect!!! Since you are staying at Poly, you can always walk next door to the Ticket & Transportation Center (literally in walking distance) and board the Ferry. In my opinion, best seats in the park since not many people know about it!!
