Is there a safe place to live?
Or is there a state or country thats actually storm free? (no tornadoes, twisters, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc.)









EDIT: i know there alot of safe places to live, but when i say safe i mean like storms wise like hurricanes and stuff.

You mean safe as in 'no harm of being hurt'? Then that's a no.

You can be killed or hurt doing the most simplest of things. There's nowhere you can live to hide from that.

Nevada doesn't get twisters, we got dust devils, barely harmful. We don't get hurricans, and the last earthquake we had is when I was 5

It's one of these things, there are places that don't see hurricanes and tornadoes, etc, but there is the off day when these things do happen.
Even if the area is not prone to natural disasters, they can happen.

After watching alot of documentaries on future disasters, I conclude that there isn't...

From watching them, the East and West coat will get megatsunamis, there's a supervolcano under Yellowstone National Park that, when it erupts, will cover 3/4 of the USA with ash, tornadoes and earthquakes in the centre...

The River Thames could flood, there's a hidden faultline under much of Europe, a hurricane appeared on the South East of England in the 1980s and could happen again, the UK has the most tornadoes every year (compared with it's size)

There's loads more, but I can't think of anything else...

Where I live the weather is usually always manageable. I can't even think when the last time was when we had tornadoes, twisters, hurricanes, or eathquakes. *knocks on wood*

I've thought about this before, too.
The answer is no.
Every area has SOME kind of natural disaster.

I mean, let's see, just USA:
East Coast: Hurricanes
Midwest: Tornadoes
North: Blizzards/Avalanches
Gulf Coast: Hurricanes
West Coast: Earthquakes
Alaska: Earthquakes/ Tornadoes
Hawaii: Volcanoes

In England we rarely get natural disasters. However, things like floods and even the occasional earthquake or tornado is comming more common/likely. Theres only ever been a few tornadoes in England, there was one in 1984 (locally where I live) and another up north in England a year or two ago. There may have been more, but I am not aware of them..

where i live in south jersey it is very safe. my area in voorhees has a low crime rate as well. (there are 4 parts to my town) the only bad thing is we have occasional lightning storms, really nothing bad like tornadoes or hurricanes exc.

Come to Wales.
Even our thunderstorms are pathetically mild. We get a few floods now and again (especially down by the gower when the tide comes in) that seems to be it though. We haven't had a hurricane or tornado for years. The only volcanoe i know of is long gone. And britains last earthquake which was like 5.something on the richter scale was barely felt. Plus we have amazing scenery and beaches and loads of sheep.
Actually as the UK very rarely gets these disasters we're a lot less prepared to deal with the aftermath of them.

It's true.

If a storm surge coincided with spring tide and high tide, then the Thames Barrier could be overtopped by as much as 2 metes! (From my book)

There's also a faultline that's under London. It could crack and cause an earthquake. Plus, since everyone thinks we're safe from earthquakes (well not really...) all our buildings aren't earthquake proof, so lots of destruction.
