Watching Illum. from Boardwalk area?

I've read that there is someplace to watch Illuminations from the Boardwalk area without going into the park. We are staying at the Swan but not counting on a room with a fireworks view.

Does anyone know where a good place is? I think I read something about a bridge.

There is a bridge that connects the Boardwalk with the pathway to Epcot. You will be able to see the upper fireworks but will have an obstructed view of the fireworks and other things happening around the lagoon. It is a great show, so if at all possible, I recommend seeing it from inside Epcot at a spot by the lagoon.
