We won't be staying there during our visit, but I'd like to watch the fireworks from the dock, having already seen them from the Polynesian beach, I thought we'd try somewhere else. Do you think the CM's will have an issue with this? The night we watched them from the Polynesian, the beach was deserted...February 2016 had a few very cold and wet days.

As long as you can get to the GF,no one at the dock will know if you're staying there or not. You'll be free to walk around and check out whatever you want - there are no CMs at the dock.

We must have had bad luck. Even though the beach as the Polynesian was deserted, maybe about six people, there was a CM out there the whole time and we were asked if we were staying at the resort. He let us know that if the beach becomes too crowded they begin to ask non-resort guests to leave.

You don't have to be a GF guest to watch Wishes from the dock. But there have been recent reports that you must be dining at Narcoossees to watch from their deck.

Currently, there's no AUDIO piped in at the GF dock.
(There is soon to be a paid "Wishes Dessert Party" that will be held on that boat dock.)
But, there IS audio of the fireworks provided at the GF marina (Gasparilla Grill.)

The Narcoossee's Deck shown is now reserved only for guests of the restaurant.

Honestly? What's next, exclusive beach access passes for $49? Any idea when the pier will be used for dessert parties? We're headed down in November.

1. Nobody knows.
2. I'd say that if they are going to do this, there's a good chance that the party would be running by then.

Holy Moly, really? They're going to start holding paid events in the nooks and crannies OUTSIDE MK for viewing? Yikes. . . Can you tell me where you found this scoop and whether there are others like it in the rumor mill?
