Watching fireworks from outside parks

I have a friend who is going and wants to catch the sparkles on a non-park day for them. We have been to WDW many times and watched fireworks quite happily during dinner at Narcoosees, O'Hana and the California Grill. Any other suggestions on where to watch the fireworks from outside of the MK?

Where can Epcot fireworks best be seen outside the parks? Is Epcot worth the trouble outside the parks since you can't see all the show on the lagoon and WS buildings? I know people have talked about watching them from the Boardwalk, but unsure how it works out.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

You get s good view of the fireworks at Epcot from the Boardwalk Resort, at the waters edge near the Atlantic Dance Hall. You are right though in that you can only see the stuff that is shot into the air. You can get a similar angle from a long distance by going to the waters eadge about half way through the Casitas section of Coronado Springs. If you get it just right the sillouette of the Dolphin loogs like a volcano with lava (fireworks) spurting out the top.

MK fireworks--Poly beach, viewing platform on fourth floor of Contemporary (music piped in), or catch a boat launch or ferry timed to watch the fireworks while you ride across Seven Seas Lagoon. Time the visit to see Electrical Water Pageant also.

Epcot--Wouldn't make a special trip just for the fireworks, as you only see the higher up part, but an evening in the Boardwalk area, including some fireworks viewing, is fun. Try the bridge between Boardwalk and International Gateway area--we also saw them from the beach area (hammocks available) between the Swan and Dolphin. If staying at CBR, watch from the patio near the main pool.
