Can you still heat the music well if watching the fireworks from behind the castle? We’ve been many times so the projections aren’t a huge deal but the music gets me right in the feels so I NEED to be able to hear it while watching.

Yep. My go-to spot (when it's not blocked because of high winds) is to sit outside Gaston's. But they pipe the music to the whole park, so really anywhere you can see the fireworks is a good spot

The only time we didn't hear the music well was when we were under the edge of the Tron canopy. The Tron music was louder there than the fireworks music. We'd walked a ton and were waiting for our VQ to be called so chose not to walk further away but just a mention that that attraction may not be the best place to hear the music although we could see the fireworks well,

What I like about watching back there is that you are surrounded by the fireworks. Some are from the castle, and some are from well behind the park, so you are just immersed in the middle of it all!

Another alternative to avoid the crowds but still enjoy the show is the Poly beach. We did that on Monday, and I am quite sure that they recently replaced or otherwise improved the sound system that plays the music. Other times we felt we could barely hear it, but it was loud and clear this week. So magical to sit in a chair on the beach and watch and listen to the show across the water!

Love the sound of this! We have watched from Poly beach before and loved that as well, grabbed our dole whips and picked our spot to watch, so great! We will be in the park for After Hours this time so wanted to be in an area away from crowds so we can start riding as soon as the event starts and not be fighting our way through crowds after the fireworks.

Yes, they play the music all around the park, but the area near the Encanto meet and greet (the Cosmic Ray's/Teacups walkway) doesn't have particularly good audio. If you want to watch from Fantasyland, I'd recommend between Pooh and the Carousel.

Yes, very well! We sit by the carousel, just behind the ropes. While there are no projects its the only place where you can smell the fire works and, if you're lucky, end up with ash in your hair.
