This is just a heads up warning to everyone that uses an ECV, stroller, wheelchair or any other vehicle with a carry-all type basket or bag.
For the first time ever, we witnessed someone rooting through the basket on my DH's personal ECV. We never leave anything of value in it but it did have water bottles and maps. I said something and then DH chimed in (not too nice btw
) and the guy's only response was "I didn't know it was your's". DH kept saying "But it's not YOUR'S so you shouldn't be going through it." He just said "Sorry but I didn't know it was your's" I thought DH was going to launch his disabled self at the guy.
And of course, as luck would have it we ran into this guy again at MK the next night. And conveniently, the guy positioned himself right next to DH's ECV as we were waiting in line for Aladdin. I called to a CM to watch the ECV while DH walked out of line and back to it. The guy quickly scurried away when he saw DH.
We obviously didn't let it ruin our trip but we did become much more aware of our surroundings. So please keep a close eye on all your personal belongings folks. Some people aren't as magical as others.
