After watching (suffering) that truly pathetic excuse of a "Disney Christmas" show, I went to my video vault to watch the show that always puts me in a Disney "happy place".
Some of you may have already seen it, but truly, the episode "The Wonderful World of Hecks" from the series The Middle celebrates Walt Disney World and makes me want to go back to WDW as soon as I watch the episode.
Because the show was shot as a normal scripted episode, the POV throughout is at eye level so in all the scenes it feels like you are standing right in the middle of MK and Epcot with the characters as they are moving around.
It is super Disney World-centric and so many jokes are references that every DISer will "get" immediately. References to magic bands, turkey legs, touring plans, etc. And one of the most wonderful homages to the hard working CMs ever - they are portrayed as cheerful, helpful, patient - which they almost always are in real life.
I watch it whenever I need a Disney "lift" as it really throws me mentally back into the "World". Try it out if you haven't seen it and use the Disney love it presents you to get that horrible Disney Parade Show out of your head.
