Well, its about time to get this Pretrippie started. This is a story about 2 sisters taking to the high seas together. The characters in this story - me, 30ish, oldest. DH is not able to join me for this cruise so that makes this a cruise with just 2 women who happen to be sisters. DSis is appx 5 yrs younger and has never cruised before. She is not married (although maybe we can change that on the cruise :lmao: ).

So what makes this trip unique you might ask....well a few things:

1) 2 sisters traveling together in one room - now keep in mind, growing up we couldn't stand to be in the same room - in fact at one point we put a curtain up between our beds just so we wouldn't have to look at each other :rotfl2:

2) We are both huge Disney fans

3) Dsis has no idea what to expect. This will be my 6th cruise so its like night and day - I can't wait to see her face when we first walk onto that gorgeous ship :woohoo:

4) I just got off the Magic on 9/27 from an amazing Western with DH and friends. I have never cruised this closely together and it just happened to work out that we were able to book so closely together. We had to work around Dsis work schedule so seems weird to be unpacking only to start thinking about repacking. And to be honest, I am completely unprepared for this one :scared1: I haven't even looked at excursions, haven't thought about my FE gifts, etc.

5) I have only cruised with DH so cruising with Dsis is going to be .....how should I say......interesting!

So folks, sit back, relax and enjoy .......2 sisters on a cruise - who know WHAT is going to happen:duck:

Okay, I have always suffered from the terrible disease of QP - queen procrastinator. On my last cruise, I was very proud of myself because I actually printed a packing list and followed it right to the last day! Now you have to understand, this was HUGE for me. Well unfortunately, my Dsis suffers from the same disease - is it genetic :confused3

Anyways so task number one is to complete the budget for our spending....now you may be doing a double take at this point - ummm isn't your cruise in 52 days????:scared1: I will refer you back to the first sentence :lmao:

So today I was telling Dsis about what she needs to be prepared for. Now I would not be fulfilling my role as a big sis if I didn't give her a hard time :rolleyes1 With that said, I have her convinced that she has been enrolled in a mandatory limbo contest :lmao: I can just see her practicing in front of the mirror. :dance3:

 <-----innocent face

So after coming off a recent Western, I really wasn't impressed with walking around and shopping in Grand Cayman. I don't mind shopping in Cozumel as I have a few favorite stops where I can find great buys. So that being said, I think I am going to try to figure out an excursion to surprise Dsis with. If anyone has ideas let me know!popcorn::

Definitely you should send her to stingray city! We did not book through Disney, but used nativewaywatersportsdotcom and saved a little cash - They were very good - met hubby at the dock and delivered him back safe and sound right on time. Also, come over and check out the dis meet thread if you haven't already!
